The mission of the Greater Chattanooga Sports & Events Committee is to promote economic development in the greater Chattanooga area by identifying, pursuing, and facilitating athletic events and meetings.

Blending its civic pride, natural resources, and great knowledge of sports, Chattanooga is well on its way to becoming the Amateur Sports Capital of the South.

Comprised of 15 civic, business, and sports leaders, The Sports Committee board of directors understands the economic benefit that sports bring to a community.
